Shipping Policy

We process and ship over 95% of all orders same day or next business day.

Live Plants & Shrimp
Live plants and shrimp are shipped using the most appropriate UPS service and typically arrive within 2 business days. Transit times do not include weekends, holidays, or delays caused by weather or carrier issues.

Dry Goods (Fish Food, Medications, Filtration Products, etc.)
Dry goods can be ordered any day and are typically shipped the next business day. Delivery times range from 1–5 business days, depending on the destination and carrier.

Shipping Restrictions
We currently do not ship to Puerto Rico, Alaska, Hawaii, or international destinations.

Free Shipping

Orders over $25.00 qualify for free shipping within the lower 48 states of the U.S.
(Frozen Food, tanks and stand is pick up only or get a quote for local delivery option.)


Shipping Options (U.S. Lower 48)

We will select the most cost-effective method for delivery. This may include UPS Ground or FedEx Home delivery.

Standard Ground: Up to 5 Business Days
Delivered to a regular street address only (no PO boxes).

Next Day Air: Delivered Next Business Day
2 Day Air: 2 Business Days
Priority Mail: Typically 2–3 Business Days

Transit times are estimates. Only UPS Next Day or 2-Day services are guaranteed.


Order Processing

  • Orders placed Monday–Friday usually ship the same or next business day.
  • Orders placed Saturday–Sunday typically ship on Monday.
  • Packages are picked up Monday–Saturday by carriers.
  • All orders ship from our retail store and storage facility in Bardonia, NY.

Holiday & Peak Season Shipping

Carriers do not deliver on federal holidays, including:
Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.

During peak holiday periods, please allow extra time for delivery. While we ship promptly, carriers may experience delays.


Package Delivery Without Signature

You may leave a signed note authorizing your carrier to leave the package at your address. This is at the discretion of the delivery driver. You can also contact your local FedEx or USPS office to set up a signature waiver.


Refused Packages

If a shipment is refused or returned to sender, a 10% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.
Only returned items will be credited once received.


Out of Stock & Backorders

We strive to maintain high stock levels but occasionally run out of products due to demand or manufacturer delays.

  • Orders will not be held due to out-of-stock items.
  • Backordered items ship separately at no additional cost.

Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged, contact us within 24 hours.
All damage claims must be filed with the carrier. We’re happy to assist in resolving any issues.
Orders cannot be canceled or refused due to carrier delays.


Returns

All returned items must be packed securely in their original packaging.
Write your RMA number clearly on the shipping label (not the product box).
